Story: The Covil Avenue development is part of a multi-site neighborhood revitalization effort capitalizing on U.S. Housing and Ubran Development Hope VI grant funds in Wilmington, NC.
The community consists of two buildings containing a mix of 2-and-3-bedroom townhouses and walk-up-style apartments along with a 1,000 square foot community room. The buildings are designed to provide maximum activity along the street incorporating large front porches and placing the community room at the corner of the entrance to the property.
