Story: CaroMont Health looked to an underserved area of Mecklenburg County to expand access to care.

FMK Architects designed a facility for operational flexibility to provide Family Medicine and extended hours Urgent Care services. A strong street presence brings attention to the CaroMont brand and offers a light-filled entrance and waiting room. Patient flow is maximized with high visibility of all exam rooms from the nurse station, with private dictation rooms just steps away from the nursing staff.  All exam rooms have daylight for a pleasing patient experience. The wellness of the staff is enhanced by a break room with floor to ceiling windows and views of adjoining creek buffer.
