Story: Revitalization and updating of an existing, dilapidated, load-bearing masonry and wood-frame mercantile building located within a re-emerging urban neighborhood.  

Our challenge was to assist our client in breathing new life back into this well-located but long-underutilized mercantile building while also maintaining as much of the existing character as possible.  The primary building mass was maintained while new openings and a new covered rear porch were added to make the building appealing and accessible from more than just one façade.
