Story: THE SILOS WERE A LARGE, HIGH-DENSITY, MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT ALONG THE LIGHT RAIL LINE OFF POINDEXTER DRIVE IN SOUTH END conducted in three phases.
Phase I consisted of two, mixed-use gateway buildings flanking either side of Poindexter Drive and a 2-story parking deck lined with townhome-style units as well as two, 4-story office buildings and one mixed-use residential building.
Phase II consisted of a large, 4-story residential building and parking deck.
Phase III envisioned an 18-story, mixed-use high-rise along the light rail.
Unfortunately, this project was canceled due to the 2008 economic downturn.
