At FMK Architects, we have successfully expanded upon that background, serving as a leader in the Carolinas in the design of urban multifamily and mixed-use developments. We have experienced just about every multifamily scenario possible - greenfield sites, former brownfield sites, urban sites, sites in historically sensitive neighborhoods, and even sites located along designated Transit Oriented Design (TOD) corridors. Multifamily projects have included market-rate garden apartments, affordable/tax credit apartments, mixed-income communities, and condominiums of every shape, size and price-point.
