Steve Lineberger is a principal at FMK Architects and a 30+ year veteran of the architectural industry, all while residing in Charlotte. Steve provides leadership in the areas of marketing and business development for the firm, and contributes master planning and building design services on selected projects as needed. Previous project experience includes the master planning and design of office and business parks, church and school campuses, and more recently multifamily/mixed-use developments.

Steve earned both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Architecture degrees from Clemson University, including study at the Charles E. Daniel Center for Building Research and Urban Studies in Genoa, Italy. He is active in several trade and professional organizations, has participated as a member of numerous North Carolina AIA - Regional and Urban Assistance Teams (RUDAT’s), and has served as a mayoral appointee to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic District Commission.
