Russell DeVita is a principal at FMK Architects and holds the distinction of being the second employee ever hired at the firm. Like the other principals at FMK, Russ has participated in a similar variety of project types including – multifamily, mixed-use, adaptive re-use, commercial and healthcare-related projects.

Russ, a New Jersey native, is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He has achieved the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation through the US Green Building Council’s Green Building Certification Institute. He is routinely called upon to advise the staff and the firm’s clients when a project is being considered for LEED certification.
